Item master bay mapping import and export facility

When exporting bay mapping information for item masters, the system will output something similar to the below:

Most of the fields are fairly self explanatory and match up with what you can see on screen in the client application - below is the bay mapping for ITEM002 above:

As you can see in the sample, a bay can be used more than once for different item masters. The order in which the export outputs the bays is the order in which the bays appear in the client application. This is especially important to note when you are importing mappings.

Switching the usage to 'Disabled' for ITEM002 in the spreadsheet will cause it to be disabled. Removing all other items from the spreadsheet will prevent them from being updated and so only ITEM002 in this example will be altered when importing:

Using 'Use Supplier' for the usage instead of 'Disabled' would mean that the supplier's bay mappings are used instead of the item's own. Also, if we clear the overflow bay, it will be cleared in the client:

And finally, removing all of the bays and their maximum pallet quantities will clear them from the client. At the same time, we can disable the bay mapping for this item altogether:
